Statements of Environmental Effects

Preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects to accompany new or amended Development Applications for small scale development projects. Such Statements typically include:

• Details of the likely impacts of the proposed development both during and after the development
• Proposed measures that will mitigate adverse impacts
• Detailed assessment of the proposed development having regard to all policies and planning controls that apply to the land or type of development
• Addressing all the relevant state and local planning policies and controls
• Written description of those aspects of the proposal which cannot be readily shown by the plans
• Completion of the required general checklist of issues relevant to the development proposal.

I also offer realistic and unbiassed advice on the desirability and feasibility of proceeding with a proposed development having regard to potential adverse impacts and neighbours’ concerns.
