For home or property owners who are undertaking small-scale development projects, or who are worried about the impact of a proposed development nearby, I offer a friendly, personal, one-on-one advisory service.

For community groups, I offer an initial round-table consultation at which I will determine the areas where I could help with the group’s concerns. By agreement, I would follow up with a proposal if more work is required.

Assist in interpreting complex architectural and engineering plans for development proposals.
Helping clients to gain a graphic understanding of the possible impact of a development in the local urban setting and/or landscape.
Assist with understanding and interpreting complex planning laws and regulations.
Assist with interpreting official documents, such as development applications, Environmental Impact Statements, planning proposals, scientific and engineering statements, and complex multidisciplinary reports.
General guidance on how to contact and work with relevant officials at state and local level: who to talk to, and how to prepare for meetings.
