My approach
- We meet and discuss your group's concerns to establish an understanding of the matter at stake. At that meeting I would provide preliminary verbal advice, to be followed – at the request of your group - by a detailed proposal and action plan. One or more meetings would follow, depending on the complexity of the matter at hand. The matter of fees – if any – would be negotiated and agreed.
- If your situation requires more in-depth consideration, I would help you to design a program of work covering information gathering, research, and advice on strategic actions, with timings.
- After agreement on fee and proposal, I would execute the work and report to your group on my findings, with advice and recommendations as to further action if necessary. Presentation at a community meeting is an option. Follow-up may be vital: if so, we will agree as to who does what, and when. I would provide contacts, ideas, suggestions – even warnings! – until the matter is put to bed to your satisfaction.
